I’ve noticed that I start a new love affair with a different fruit every summer. Last year was nectarines, the year before was watermelon, and this year is peaches!
They’re so juicy and vibrant, they just scream summer! Peaches are versatile, too. They can be used in desserts, on top of salads, and, of course, in mouth-watering summer peach smoothie recipes.
Tossing them in a smoothie is also a great way to use up ones that are starting to get a little too ripe.
But sometimes I need to shake things up a bit. So I look around my kitchen and find the ripest fruit to toss in the blender. That’s how this vegan peach smoothie recipe was born.
Now I know that not everyone has access to fresh peaches, especially in the winter, so you can totally use frozen peaches in this recipe. Just let them defrost a bit before blending, otherwise your smoothie will be super thick.
On the flip side, if you have fresh mango on hand that you want to use instead of frozen, go for it! Just make sure one fruit is frozen and the other isn’t.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yields: 20 ounces
- 2 medium peaches
- 2 cups frozen mango
- ¾ cup almond milk
- Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into your favorite glass, sip, and enjoy.
